Who We Are

We are a handful of experienced roofers who spend our working weeks on South East London slate. Forest Hill and Honor Oak roofs have their own habits – butterfly valleys that back up behind a leaf blockage, nail sickness on original Welsh slate, dormer cheeks added in the 1990s, and flat-roofed rear returns bolted onto a Victorian pitch. Knowing how each of those goes wrong saves you paying for guesswork.

Almost all of our work arrives by word of mouth on these streets, which is exactly why we would rather finish one roof properly than rush three. Where a repair is the honest answer, that is what we will quote.

What We Take On

There is very little on a pitched or flat roof we do not handle:

Roof repairs in Forest Hill – leaks, valley blockages, slipped slates, split lead.
New roofs and re-roofing – strip, structural check, membrane, battens, slates and leadwork.
Flat roofing – felt, GRP fibreglass and EPDM on extensions, dormers and garages.
Stacks, leadwork, valleys, gutters, fascias and soffits – the small details behind most leaks.

What You Get From Us

Work with Roofers Forest Hill by Crown Roofers and this is the deal:

Plain talking and pricing broken down line by line
A free survey, photographed so you can see the fault yourself
Fully insured roofing work
The same person looking after your job start to finish
Proper materials and correct detailing rather than a quick cover-up

Getting a roof wrong is expensive, so a two-slate repair gets the same attention as a full replacement – scaffold kept tidy, front gardens and hedges protected, and the site swept before we go home.

Why Choose Us?

We cover Forest Hill and the surrounding parts of Lewisham, and people keep coming back for these reasons:

First-hand knowledge of SE23 tiled and slate roofs, valleys and sloping streets
Roofers you can actually get hold of and talk to
Sensible prices with nobody leaning on you to sign
A local name built on repeat jobs and neighbours’ recommendations
Respect for the houses and the people living in them
